Hello, I’m Steph. Or Shep, as a close friend’s daughter calls me. I’m fourteen and in grade nine. I’m described as a hippie, usually. Others have called me a “pot smoking socialist” or a “tree hugging liberal.” For the most part, I’d say I’m a neo-hippie.

 I could be called a “Broadway Kid” just because I hung out there a lot this summer/autumn. I guess I am one. I think it might be because a lot of my not so close friends hang out there. When it’s warm I hang out three too. I never really feel like I fit in there, though. I’m not a gak girl, I’m not punk, I’m not really like anyone else who hangs out there.

I suppose my friends deserve mentioning. Right now, the closest people to me would be Charissa and Autumn. Yeah, so Autumn’s eighteen months. But that don’t matter, she’s uber sweet. Charise is just Charise. We have such similar personalities, but we’re different enough to have some diversity in the friendship. Besides, we’re rap video girls. Daniel would be next on the list, just because he’s Pooh. Maggie is really cool, too. She’s like really preppy, but still a good person to be around. Plus, I can be protective of her. Kayly fits on her too, as she’s like this girl I can totally relate too, and junk. Sam and I are pretty tight, as well. He like puts up with my crazy things. I love my friends to pieces. They mean a lot to me. I’d die if I had no one to bitch at.

I love my younger brother, Evan more than anything. He’s really nice, for a nine year old. I take care of him a lot, as my parents work. I love watching him learn to read. He’s pretty far behind in his school work, due to complications during his birth. This guy I know, Steve, calls him “little man” and he loves it. I often stay home to hang out with Evan, rather than go drinking, et cetera. Not saying he’s better than my friends, but still, this little guy depends on me.

 I believe in equality for all living things. I am a vegetarian planning on going vegan, soon enough. I am a feminist. I do not believe that it is okay to pick plants that we are not going to eat. I think it’s dumb that people waste so much fruits/veggies. Plants are alive, too. I always do my best to help the environment.

I am pansexual. Meaning, I don’t care if you are male/female/intersexual/transsexual or boy/girl/boi/grrl/genderqueer. I will be attracted to your personality, not genitals. I consider myself to be genderqueer. I have dated one girl, one ftm, one genderqueer, and a handful of boys.

 Right now, I’m single and would love to be in a relationship, but I haven’t met the right person. Or anyone I’m romantically, or even sexually interested in.
